Train was tied down at Troy Amtrak yesterday evening. The other crew dragged it into Pontiac. That 5930 that went south lite last night came back with a train and with 4619 of all things later in the evening. I seem to recall something similar last weekend when lite engines left Pontiac and came back with a train including 4619. Never saw 4619 head south yesterday but wasn't home all day.

Re: CN Updates - February 2018
Well, that 5930 rescue moved just happened again. 5930 drifted lite out of Pontiac and just came roaring back NB screaming up the Hill with 6223 and a train. Looked like the usual weekend local train died again before getting back to Pontiac and they sent the evening yard crew down to bring the train back. Pretty long train too. Nice to hear an SD40 running at 60 mph up the Hill.

I was really happy I just happened to be outside putting steaks on the grill and decided to walk out to the tracks. And then I sprinted back to the house to call some friends and post on here so hopefully some of you could catch it. Just heard him on the radio passing 219.5 at 2018Robertrains wrote:WOW!!!! I didn't get any numbers, even if I had a pen I couldn't write that many numbers that fast. I believe they were all zebras if I remember correctly.

OK, it looks like night's eastbound train at MP 205 had five trailing "ZEBRA COWLS!!!!" Where does this train "Terminate?" Train Symbol? Did anyone else catch this train? It must have gone through Durand! Are these units likely to go down the Mt. Clemens Sub. today (2-18)? I really want to catch some more "COWLS" while still possible!!!! We need "Updates" where these nice units went!!!!KC8RBK wrote:» Sat Feb 17, 2018 8:24 pmRobertrains wrote:Sat Feb 17, 2018 8:20

I photographed southbound train 533 at the MTM station, Mt. Clemens today (2-18)! It had CN SD70M-2 #8938 and seven loaded "Well Car" sets, crossed Cass Ave. at 3:30 p.m.
