This morning at 8:10 am a Train 116 went SB past MP 22.2 on the Holly with a lot of mixed freight on the head end. He was on Main 1.

Main 2 was also signaled for a SB as 116 approached and a few minutes later in my walk I could hear a train blowing through Pontiac. I presume it was local 950 but didn't delay my walk to see it (too cold to stand still any longer). Good use of the two-track mainline by the DS.

I caught a northbound at Williams Lake Rd at5:22 PM. A single CN leading, I am thinking it was CN 2435 but just did not get clear look at it. I am not sure if this was 451/503. Mostly autoracks, with a few other cars mixed in.

A very late 116 SB past MP 22.5 at 12:40 pm with two UP units leading two CSX ones. All stacks today. Power might be coming back to Pontiac later as it sometimes does with no mixed freight for Flat Rock.

Train 950 returning to Pontiac past MP 22.5 with 4916 at 1 pm.

Train 451 NB past MP 22.5 at 1:35 pm with two CN units.

The power from 116 just drifted NB past MP 22.5 at 2:15 pm.

That 116 power just took a train south out of Pontiac flying past MP 22.5 at 60 mph around 3:15 pm. The CSX units were in a lease fleet with their initials lined out. Pretty long train. Advance 502? Odd but practical use of extra power on the Holly today.

Is this a new train? I haven't heard of a 136 before.

I was guessing for the most part what train it is, 136 is the one I've heard it being referred to as. If that is what train it was then 136 has been running the last couple months once a week from Prince Rupert bc to Detroit, usually on Friday and returning on Saturday. it's usually close to fully loaded and running with a dpu. This is the first time I've seen the dpu in the middle instead of the end. When I saw it a few weeks ago I called it a 118 but someone corrected me by calling it 136. I don't know how to confirm what train numbers they are so I just go by radio traffic, consist and what I see others going by on here. If anyone knows a better way I'm happy to learn new tricks, I'm not too old of a dog yet. I haven't posted all the trains I've seen today but there have been about 5 stack trains by here today that I've seen or had someone call me about.

About that Train 136 Jim wrote about, I got stopped by a train on Woodward in Pontiac at 4 pm today and it was a very long doublestack train with a little mixed freight on the headend. Didn't see the power but my daughter said it had at least one CSX unit. This may have been that 136. There was one last week. Odd time for a 116 that late in the afternoon.

This was indeed a Q136. I saw that on a Facebook group from a good source then heard it myself on the Durand audio feed. These occasional extra intermodals into Moterm the past couple of months have had symbols of either Q136 or Q192 each time I've seen them reported, and I think they typically have a DPU.
