Trenton 3, NS 5815 went to BASF with over 20 Tanks. They returned with 5 Tanks and 4 Covered Hoppers.

I think most if not all of the Metro Aluminum warehouses are closed or repurposed and don’t receive rail service.

It seems Guardian is getting less cars than usual.

Strong Scrap Yard on Strong Street just east of Mount Eliot on Conrail's Beltline Extension is on fire per Channel 7 (Detroit) news. It used to and maybe still does get rail service and has a leased Alco switcher. It is just north of the new spur to GM's Poletown Plant.

Earlier this evening, at about 7:15, NY-21 brought a few dozen autoracks north from Mack Yard. They were heading for Sterling Yard. Told dispatcher they had a stop to make at Mound Yard on their way back south to North Yard later.

At Lynch Ave, the crossing signal for the Beltline Extension was activated along with the signal for NY-21 on the Terminal East, which was clearly a malfunction since NY-28 was well to the south, switching the industry located just north of Georgia St.

He left Brownstown with his one covered hopper at about 945 for Guardian; returned lite about 45 minutes later.
