Very early Q38416 departed Grand Rapids around 8pm, should be into Lansing by now.

Only one unit and 52 cars. They were in the siding at Fowlerville for Q385 by 11:20 pm. Q385 had ten auto rack cars on the head end which appeared to be loads. Perhaps this is the start of something new in the pick up at Plymouth.

SB D736 clearing 9 Mile Rd. CSX 239 leading.

Earlier in the day heard what sounded like a SB G765 clearing 7 Mile Rd. around 9:45 this morning. Transmission was too faint to get the engine #. Then heard on the scanner someone else say, "your grain train looks good", about5 minutes later.

10:40pm - q38417 east clear MP105 nearing Grand Ledge.
10:50pm - q385 out near Williamston westbound. E800 having problems with the switch in the siding at Grand Junction.
11:44pm - e800 west at Bangor with a pair of BNSF locos, amtrak p37017 east at Zeeland. Grand Elk Z739 going over to Wyoming Yard with about 30 cars, planning on going there around 12:45am they said.

9:25am - sounds like MQT Z151 is up at Turner St near the Delta Plex in Grand Rapids, ready to head south onto CSX trackage to Wyoming Yard. D70018 west at Wells at that time, CSXT 5645 leading, with Q32618 down at Livingston.
10:35am - q32618 by bangor, stacks on the rear.
11:08am - d70018 west by bangor, 4 tank cars, 1 sand car, 1 loaded centerbeam, and 1 steel coil hopper.
11:12am - Y106 east at Seymour in grand rapids.

10:35am - q32618 by bangor, stacks on the rear.

Q326 met D700 at Grand Jct. with the local in the siding. 326 crossed the Kzoo River at New Richmond at 11:10 with CSXT 9039 leading - no helpers today. Lots of stacks on the rear. In the middle of the mixed freight consist was a whole line of elderly looking CSX cars - mostly gondolas and boxcars with a couple hoppers thrown in for good measure - not sure if CSX hasn't painted any equipment in the past 20 years and a bunch of the road's cars were just conveniently all lined up or if these are cars en route to repair or retirement. Also noted a PanAm Railways blue boxcar in consist and 3 NS coil cars (for Arlington Metals in Sawyer).

D700 east by Bangor at 2:21pm, CSXT 47xx, CSXT 5465, different coil hopper, same loaded centerbeam, same sand hopper, and the 4 tank cars trailing again. DTLX 3028 one of the tank cars, looked empty.
