Y121 must have had a "mega" train coming to Zeeland yesterday evening - last month's 3 car setout at Vanden Bosch was nothing compared to the 5 covered hoppers currently sitting on their elevator spur. Included are one each AOK, NOKL and RCPE reporting marks, two of these being worn former C&NW hoppers, + two Burlington Northern cars each without the benefit of graffiti!

The car on the right was built in 1978 and is probably in its original paint scheme.

Three additional cars spotted to the west for future re-arrangement.

Zeeland Lumber also finished unloading two centerbeams spotted yesterday which are now ready for pickup. Plastcore still has the same two covered hoppers on its spur on the east side of town.

Also, tried to do a cell phone upload yesterday but kept getting error messages, here is Q326-08 EB passing the 5 million gallon Zeeland BPW Water Tank, painted this past fall. No intermodal but about 95 cars of mixed freight.

Some musings on routings: That Chesapeake and Indiana 5115 unit labeled as IBCX 5115... went by Bangor MI eastbound on Q326 back on Jan 4th. Went to Willard and all the way to Selkirk NY on Q38404, arriving Jan 6th. Left Selkirk on Q39308 on the 8th and I believe it's in Garrett IN now where I think it got dropped off. Saw some videos of it coming westbound through Berea and Fostoria. Chicago to Garrett via New York, nice Who knows where it started from before Chicago.

I am thinking it will get set out at Wellsboro. Only thought that i have is that perhaps C&I wanted their unit to be facing a certain direction and this is the way CSX figured how to turn it. All the way to Selkirk eh? Must be no one wanted to touch it and set off a firestorm of "who does that go too and what is it doing here?"
