Q327-25 with CSXT 5392 leading westbound has a clear indication at Hilltop at 21:05 ET. Clear Vine at 21:11. 614 axles, 9014 feet at 91.9 DD.
Clear Stevensville at 21:14. Amtrak waiting in Livingston.

If I heard correctly, the consist should be CSXT 5392, 8823, 7766.

Meet occurred at 2150 on the screen. Suspected Q384 just trailed off the east end of the board (1st block east of Lake O). Listening for the horns at home but not hearing them yet. Oh, there they are. Just heard them.

They worked at Woodbury, probably both industries, from about 0700 to 0815 ish. Think they May have came by westbound for lake O (or GRP not sure which today) around 5-6 am ish.

In addition to the CH's at the ethanol plant there have also been a few tankers. Not sure if they are gasoline in to denature or the corn syrup and feed additives they used to get inbound. Pretty sure they aren't shipping ethanol out as they never really have shipped that out by rail. I know several folks who work the plant; I'll have to ask. Really surprised to see them getting rail service again. The management was really against it the last few years. Must be the pricing or the service has become more favorable again.

It'd be interesting to hear, since CSX surely hasn't been impressing on service lately. I'd suspect that it has some to do with trucking rates, as they're starting to get a bit steep these days with very limited trucking capacity.

1630 Wyoming Yard report:

CSXT 2790 and 6545 switching the East end of the yard. Gevo power from what I assume is today's Q326 tied down beside the container cut. CSXT 3172 and 3267 are tied down at the House - I didn't think they really kept any engines over there since the house bldg is closed. Are they just being laid up there until the potash train comes back west?

Edit....just kidding. At 1640, the power at the House moved down to the Plaster Creek plant to then head back west as Q327's power. Also Q385 is at Snow Road at this time.

Neither CSX or NS are impressing me w/inbound service to GR.

Somehow I don't doubt that

Anywho, just got out of the Jeff Dunham show, and sounds like there's something going east. Could be anything
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.
