Lolz, amtrak p37004 having issues near Coloma, more engine issues it sounds like. Been there for about the past half hour. Two chargers leading train, 3 superliners, and Amtrak 519 trailing.

From what i'm hearing, it sounds like there are a pair of the new units and a P32 on P370 tonight. Hearing 4612 and 4625 mentioned.

Around 4:15am, loaded coal train went east by Bangor cam. 6am, an empty set went west by Bangor, and Amtrak P37105 went by around 7:50 with the 519 leading.

One locomotive per car and they still had troubles! I love my Pere Marquette, and I know winter is a challenge, but it’s hard not to shake your head in awe.

Live from 371... sounded like they were having issues with a charger, think 519 is the only power on now.

P371 went in MC siding to meet 326. 326 has CSXT 728, 5440, intermodal on rear.

By the way, the consist was AMTK 519, 3 Supers, IDTX 4612, IDTX 4625.

Supposedly the chargers were just back there for testing.

Close inspection via Bang-cam shows that the 4625 doesn't even have the Amtrak Midwest logos on its sides, yet.

Q326 hit the detector at 44.1 around 11:55am with 388 axles. Haven't heard the crew call any further signals, so I assume they are either waiting or dying there for helpers? Any intel?

D700 meanwhile must have died somewhere between Bangor and Grand Junction last night, lite engine CSXT 4040. They have since proceeded to Holland, where they just "spun" themselves on the wye and have now taken a restricting at Middle Waverly - I assume for a Holland Yard pickup.
