Late news for what it is worth...

There was a local 513 out of Pontiac last night, drifting south past MP 22.5 around 11 pm.

There was a SB (maybe 116 or a late 502) past MP 22.5 at 4 am.

Amtrak 355, the last one into Pontiac, was three hours plus late last night, passing MP 22.5 at 4 am right after that SB freight went by. And it must have been the trainset on this morning's first Amtrak train out of Pontiac as that train was fifteen minutes late departing for Chicago (have to do the locomotive swap).

Interesting. On ATCS after L533 left I could still see activity around Moterm. Maybe L513 was working there. As for the SB freight, I believe I saw this on the Durand cam turning on to the Holly Sub after 2 AM. Had a single dark engine (maybe NS? not sure). Was a variety of mixed freight, a few intermodal cars at the end. Probably a 116.

Train 451 NB at 3:45 past MP 22.5 on the Holly with a single NS unit (maybe 9703 or 05), probably off that 116 early this morning.

eb by 205 at 1007 with 7 units in the lead the last of which was bc 2400.

Train 451 NB past MP 22.5 on the Holly with 2016 leading 5400 at 11:21.

EB with CN 5761, 5485, 5636, 5619, 56??, 2325, and 2400 was going through Durand at 11:45am on the Flint Sub.

Weekend local 515/950 SB past MP 22.5 at 11:45 with 6223 and one tank car. Slow order on one of the tracks (probably Main 1) as both Amtrak 353 and the local crawled by whereas 451 flew by (presumable on Main 2.)

3 pm update. There was a track crew on Main 2 at MP 22.3 just north of Opdyke Road this afternoon. They cleared out for Amtrak 350 which went NB on schedule and at speed at 2:50 pm.

383 is clear of Nolan with 322 axles. Tried to catch it in Mt. Clemens but just missed the power of it.

MtClemensRailFan, I just talked to someone from MTM. This train had CN "Zebra" SD40-2W #5259 leading!!!! That would have looked nice in the snow!!!!

391 good to depart Pontiac at 11:59 PM CN 2588, CN 5623, 5 loads 39 empty, 3097 feet long.

391 cleared the detector MP 34.2 northbound at 12:20 AM, 188 axels.
