eb by 205 at 1750. 2 units in the lead and a mid-train dpu

The only freight train on the Holly today (so far) south of Pontiac was what looked like an all-autorack 280 that just went SB past MP 22.5 at 7 pm.

Just caught what looked liks.like 116 near MP 14 in Royal Oak.

Westbound through East Lansing at 07:00.

CN 2637 or 2647, BCOL 4614, CN 2116.

Train 116 followed Amtrak 353 out of Pontiac around 10:50 am. Short train, all intermodal so maybe the power will come back lite to Pontiac later.

A local, looked like 950 from the consist, SB past MP 22.5 at 11:20 am with 6223.

A451 was going around the Chicago Wye in Durand heading west on the Flint Sub at 5:05pm with CN 5409, CN 5678, and a couple of CN engines I missed the numbers of.

L502 with CN 2899, BC Rail 4654, and CN 5702 was passing the Durand depot heading south down the Holly Sub towards Detroit at 5:15pm. About 46 cars.

Amtrak 364 running late tonight. Just departed East Lansing at 21:44.

L315 (empty windmill train) was through Copetown, ON at 15:52 with CN 5346 and 48 flats

M384 had CN 8964, CN 2632, and CREX 1502 this afternoon. The CREX lead in to Sarnia

116 with CN #5619 & 5636 through Lansing at 02:33.

149 through Emmett right now. 4 units on point. 4th unit is GECX 2034.

What looked like a late and short 116 SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly just now at 6:50 am. He and the earlier Amtrak were moving at regular speeds even though the temperature is minus 4 degrees. I thought that on welded rail they restricted the speeds when it was below zero out due to pull-apart concerns?

Train 515 was at Pontiac Yard with a long train mostly of wood products on centerbeams at 11:15 am looking like it was ready to head south.

Q149 is going west through Durand at 11:50am. Two generic CN's leading.

IC 1027 solo leading an eastbound manifest was going through Durand at 1:24pm on the Flint Sub. Q148 was going through Durand heading east at 1:50pm as well.

At 2:15 pm a Q119 went NB on Main 1 at MP 22.5 on the Holly. The DPU was a blue BCRail unit. Long train with a big cut of empty well cars in the middle. This was what that lite power that drifted SB this morning was headed to.

Less than a minute after the DPU on 119 cleared my backyard, Train 451 went NB on Main 2 with two CN units and one black IC one and a long train.

And at 2:30 returning local 950 drifted NB back to Pontiac with a couple boxcars to finish the NB parade this afternoon (I suspect 515 will be late returning today).

Great two-track mainline action on the Holly south of Pontiac.

Q119 was going through Durand at 4pm.

Amtrak 351 was an hour or so late today. Of interest is that it had three coaches, a snack car and a baggage car for the first time this winter to, if I recall correctly, make it the right length on CN to trigger the grade crossing signals. This was the winter consist the last two winters on this shorter Wolverine train.

At 8 pm Train 391 went NB past MP 22.5 with one locomotive (I think it was a 5400).
