Just to clarify, M391 comes from Toledo, not Flat Rock.

Was this train on the "Holly Subdivision?" I would like to catch the Illinois Central® "Operation Lifesaver®" SD40-3!!!! These units are "Rare!!!!"
If this was in fact the "Holly Sub."─does anyone know where this engine is headed? I noticed (Heritageunits.com) that is has been working out of Flat Rock!!!!

IC 6203: https://heritageunits.com/Locomotive/Detail/IC6203
Yes it was on the Holly this morning. I can only go by what I have observed but the power for 116 often heads back west on the same evening's Train 391 out of Flat Rock or maybe the next day's 503/451 out of Flat Rock, both trains running on the Holly.

Correction: Power for 116 often comes back on the next day's 503/451 which goes by my house mid-morning. This train just went by with the Citi leased unit that I reported on 116 yesterday morning. Slight chance IC 6203 may come back on 391 tonight.

Being used for yard power now again in Flat Rock.

Around 4 am a SB went past MP 22.5 on the Holly. Figured it was 116. Just now at 6:45 am two light locomotives drifted NB past the house, I presume the power from this earlier train heading back to Pontiac to wait assignment. I presume the train was 116 and it had only double stacks today so no need to continue to Flat Rock from Moterm. Or it was an extra double stack train.

Either a late Amtrak 353 or an extra Amtrak just went SB past MP 22.5 at 12:12 pm. If it was 353 it is an hour and a half late leaving Pontiac. It had two locomotives elephant-style on the head end and just three or four cars, shorter than usual.

NB at Moterm at 13:18. Weird not to hear horns blowing through Ferndale anymore.

Train 451 going by MP 22.5 on the Holly NB with that CN unit leading the UP one. Very long train after a week or so of very short ones.
