I photographed southbound train 533 through Fraser at 5:05 p.m. It "Zoomed" past me at 13 Mile Road!!!! It had CN SD60 #5481 and 15 loaded "Well Car" sets!!!!

Was in Battle Creek Friday. Do they still call the stack train the Lazer or have
they dropped that name awhile back. This stacker had 2 British Columbia units to
go with CN dash 9.

The Laser is now 148/149. There's also a 116 you'll see in the evenings with mixed freight to fill out the train. 136 has been coming on Fridays lately with one unit on either end and I've seen 119 at night a few times in the last couple months.dave989 wrote:Was in Battle Creek Friday. Train 116 SB past MP 22.5 at 7:55 am. Second unit is a CitiRail lease unit #1310. I think this is the first time I have seen one of these locomotives out back. Short train: equal amount of mixed freight up front as stacks on the rear.

About 1240 there was a CN passenger train by 205 headed west. I got out to a window just in time to see it going away from me so no unit number. I did hear it was 14 axles...

CN Cory Yard/Lansing GM SUV Plant. 12:30: N track EB dark, S track EB High Green. Big cut auto racks moving into yard, Wht SUV escort.
12:40 N track EB.mid Yellow.
12:45 S track, Long freight, 3 CN Road engines power; nice new. No #'s. 179 cars in consist (!).
1:00 pm, N track EB still yellow. S. track WB now yellow.

L533 NB approaching Moterm at 19:30. CN 5481. Had one centerbeam to go along with the intermodal for some reason.

Yes it was on the Holly this morning. Correction: Power for 116 often comes back on the next day's 503/451 which goes by my house mid-morning. This train just went by with the Citi leased unit that I reported on 116 yesterday morning. Slight chance IC 6203 may come back on 391 tonight.
