With those loaded centerbeams in mind, possibly a TC run?
Wednesday runs have tended to be Elmira/Petoskey much more frequently than TC runs, which seem to be happening a fair amount on Fridays. At least that's what the last 8+ weeks trends illustrate.

GLC was extremely late headed back south. I was within eyesight of the tracks all afternoon and never saw or heard them. They would have had to run south later than 1700 for me not to have caught them.

I'm betting they picked up loads at Rosebush. The same power ran a train south through Durand last night about 10pm. Harvest season. :)

GLC still switching Selma yard. Looks like it'll be a good sized train south when they are done...

The fall colors train is sitting in the siding by Pickard road. My guess is some of that power is for tomorrow. I will not be around to catch the southbound this afternoon, so I will drive past later and see what was set out.

I am up in Traverse on this weekend, and I will be chasing the Color Train from McBain to Cadillac and then from Cadillac to Manton (on the countryside tour). I'll be sure to post some location updates for you Cadillac folks.

Looks like the rain has stopped and maybe some sun for the chase. I'll be looking for it as it comes into Cadillac.

They arrived Cadillac at 1230. In Selma Yard, 396 was placed on the head and 392 on the rear. With brake tests, this took until 1305. I left soon after due to rain. They should be leaving for Manton right now.

The fall colors train went south through Mount Pleasant at 845 with GLC 392 leading GLC 396.

Lots of CMU students are NOT happy with the timing of this early Sunday morning run.

Well that's too bad for them. Cry me a river. A little less beer the night before and they could have made it.

Your statement is truer than you realize. Yesterday was Central Michigan University's homecoming. Win or lose (CMU lost) they still booze. I could hear intoxicated students outside my window well into the evening.
