Q384 did not go by me in Howell until after 11:30pm. From the dummy me department, I looked at the long string of container cars coming at me to long and wound up missing the second unit behind CSX 128, but that's the way it goes. Didn't help with both units facing east either.
Did you get a count of how many intermodal wells were on it?
28 Total, Some double stack, some single, many with no wells at all. Hard to tell at night when counting if they were all five packs, three packs or singles, If you get ten containers per a five pack doubled, for as long as it was, seemed there could have easily been 60 if they were all doubled and all filled.

Y106 east at Thornapple River in GR at 1:11pm, CSXT 3424 leading... that's some big-ol road power on Y106.
Q32618 sounds dead at Wells, recrew got sent to the wrong train, another crew coming from what I'm hearing, currently enroute.

GDLK Z739 coming into Wyoming Yard Grand Rapids. Shove into 22 track, come back 33 lead to north end, head end in 17, rear end in 15 to then depart east. 1:49pm.

D70018 arriving back at Grand Rapids 2:40pm. Z739 still working Wyoming Yard.

What I'm guessing is 326 passing CP Grandville. CSXT 380 leading

Scratch that... I believe this is my first encounter with 384...

Q384 had two locomotives to set out at Webberville for a grain load. They did not go by me in Howell until after 11:30pm, so wound have been after midnight for you. From the dummy me department, I looked at the long string of container cars coming at me to long and wound up missing the second unit behind CSX 128, but that's the way it goes. Didn't help with both units facing east either.
Q384 recrew departed Plymouth south just after 5a with 5446 as your second unit

Nope, MQT1223 saw a recrewed Q326 that I was talking about earlier that was stuck down at Wells. MQT1223: Q384 runs eastbound out of Grand Rapids so you wouldn't see them west of Grand Rapids in Grandville. Q384 doesn't leave for a few more hours.

Since when did 326 bring intermodal up here??? That's why I thought I maybe saw the new 384. Sorry if I've been missing out on some things, school has kept me off the forums.

It has been coming east from 59th street Chicago since Saturday... heading to Detroit. Goes from 326 to 384.

Currently going through Bridgman.
Sounds like they're going to check E800 at New Buffalo to confirm that E800's EOT is dark. If it is, NS won't take them.
E800 is currently stopped at New Buffalo.

Check out the thread "Not so good news for Detroit and North Baltimore" in Michigan Talk. Everything you need to know about what's going on is in there.

I've read that thread several times over. What I'm not clear on is where the intermodal now being handled by Q326 and Q384 is going. Is it being dropped/exchanged at Willard? Maybe I'm losing my cognitive abilities, but I can't seem to sort that out. :?

384 ultimately goes to Selkirk, N.Y. I think they would kick off the wells in Plymouth since the seem to stop there regularly. I don't have direct knowledge of their operations in the Detroit area but I'm sure someone else will chime in with the answer. Hauling that stuff all the way to Ohio then back to Michigan on a different train seems redundant although we've seen dumber stuff before from CSX.

The intermodal on 326 and 384 is a Detroit bound block of domestics and internationals that formerly went via North Baltimore. It gets dropped off in Plymouth with the rest of the Detroit cars.

D70019 west out of Holland, has an approach medium at MP30. Also hearing Q01019 east at Cromwell IN. 10:50am. Sounds like Q32619 is also getting close to Porter.

Many thanks! For some reason I thought that was new traffic.
