Sounds like Amtrak must be having difficulties - heard the Tower in GR asking if they were going to be dropping passengers off at the Holland depot a few minutes ago...

Whatever it was, isn't an issue now. Pretty close to being on time out of St Joe today
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

708 did not have much more than that going east either. So few cars have been going to GLC at Ann Pere of late, they turn at Fowlerville or Thai-Summit several times a week. 708 did pick up ten scrap loads at Thai-Summit on Monday, first pick up this month, only because Thai-Summit has been hoarding the loads waiting for a better scrap price.

Got ahead of them looks like a BNSF leader followed by a CSX unit. Will give a report when they roll by me here at Mulliken.

Edit to add: BNSF 9012 leading CSX 7773

I counted 95 cars. My daughter counted 99.

Through Mulliken at about 19:18.

Q33419 currently between Brighton and South Lyon at 21:25. Jetlink and family counted either 95 or 99 cars, I counted 97. Missed the DD count at Fowlerville by seconds. Still no 335 yet today, either one of them.

Hmm. No335. I was hoping to see at least one of them before I turned in. But if they aren't to Howell yet that is probably not happening. Officially my count was 95 cars and two units for 97 total. I just wrote down the blocks of different car types then added them up. Someone could probably listen for a DD on the super scanner archive but I'm not going to. Sorry, come to think of it this wasn't much of a location update but more of a boring follow-up commentary. Posting it anyways.

Q334-19 with 95 cars is now working Plymouth. Q335-18 never made it up after the OH/MI border. Maybe they put it away or had a yard job put on it. Q335-19 has not left Walbridge yet.

Currently hearing horns in Woodbury. There is a westbound lined on the ATCS monitor Lake O to EE Elmdale. And and eastbound movement lined to Elmdale as well. Setting up a meet maybe? With what?
