CSX Train Location Updates - September 2017

Either an abysmally late Q335 or some other random freight passed WB at South Lyon 10 minutes ago. Didn't have a scanner, but pretty sure it wasn't D708; they switch farther up the track.

Considering Q33518 did not make it by Howell until 01:10 yesterday, and Q33519 at 11:17, todays Q33520 was not doing to bad at all today going by at 15:05. On the other had, they had only one unit today, CSX 5428 with 90 cars, and had to leave cars behind at Plymouth because they did. And speaking of, D708 was in the siding for 335 at Brighton for 335 and should be in South Lyon now as I type.

Looks like q334 with 2 units and 84 cars just cleared Woodbury. Not close enough to read the numbers.

How CSX moves. Tracking an inbound - CN from PQ to Toledo, interchanged to CSX at Walbridge, departs for Willard. Arrives at Willard and departs for guess where? Walbridge. Used to be interchange at Toledo and then to Plymouth and GR. Worked smooth and efficiently. NS isn'r any better. Car from MT on BNSF, interchanged to NS in Chicago, currently in Bellvue OH. Overshot Elkhart. But then there's a car in Elkhart for 4 days, supposed to go to GDLK.

Tracking 3 in route and all 3 are messed up

And they wonder why customers use trucks...................

0920 hrs- CSXT Q326 clear Waverly with CSX 440 and 5282 with 89 cars. 440 still looking good in her Scheme 6 dress. Y121 with 6545 lite was waiting at Waverly to come out of the yard and is now heading out to start switching the north side of Holland.

That was CSX 7736+378 on that one. Today's Q33521 by Howell at 2:55PM. CSX 3440+509 with 142 cars. 34 stone train cars in the middle, lots of tanks brining up the rear.
