They are working on Main 2 on the Holly between Birmingham and Bloomfield Hills. Main 2 is out of service and there is a piece of MofW Equipment stored on it at Opdyke Road overnight again. Amtrak 353 had slow orders between around MP 23 and MP 18.

DS said Train 515, though ready to depart Pontiac, has to hold until Train 503 (current 451 I guess) arrives as 503 is short on time and Main 2 is out of service. 503 is waiting at the crossovers in Ferndale for Amtrak 353 to pass then take Main 1 to Pontiac.

Train 503 NB past MP 22.5 at 11:50 am with two 5700's and a 5600.

Train 515 with 4926 SB past MP 22.5 (where it is currently stopped at getting clearance from the work crew) at 12:18 pm. Long train today.

533 at Milwaukee Jct. waiting to head north. Ex-ATSF C40-8W

At 6:30 pm Train 515 with 4926 returning to Pontiac passing MP 22.5.

Two lite engines SB past MP 22.5 Holly at 7:12 pm. Probably power for another extra Train 119 doublestack out of Moterm.

Train 391 with 2809 as solo power NB past MP 22.5 at 8:40 pm with a short train, about a third of which consisted of gondolas with turnouts in them.

5635 solo with a solid autorack train westbound through East Lansing at 21:06

That extra Train 119 is NB passing MP 22.5 on the Holly at 9:36 pm.

Did something happen at the Battle Creek yard today? Drove by and noticed an ambulance and some police cars.

An unknown westbound through East Lansing about 22:00.

Train 950 with 4619 SB past MP 22.5 at 7:55 am with two tank cars. He just rolled by my house, stopped and backed up a bit. Probably getting clearance through the work area ahead and went a bit too far than his clearance.

I hear that Main 2 on the Holly has ties along the right-of-way all the way from MP 22.2 (Bloomfield Hills) to Royal Oak.

451 CN 5657 leading CN 2158 and GTW 4934 is northbound on the Holly approaching Raven with a strange load of empty flats, coal cars and center beams up front and the normal loaded racks in the rear.
