No, it's taken to Elmira where there is a small cement terminal. It's new operator is Buzzi-Unicem.

395 and 392 left Cadillac at 1005.

392 and 395 returned at 1545 with 2 cement hoppers, 1 coke hopper, 1 pole load, 1 idler flat, 1 pole load, 2 covered hoppers, 1 loaded center beam, 2 tanks and 18 tie loads.

Well maybe we will have a train up here in Traverse City next week.

The rails crossing 5 mile rd. looked shined up a bit at lunch time. I wonder if they are at Ameriheart as I write?

Headed north out of Cadillac shortly before 0900 this morning.

While out biking around town, I was surprised to see 7 Plastics hoppers spotted on the siding in mount pleasant. I biked around to Pickard to see if I could grab reporting marks.

While I was writing these down, I was further surprised by GLC horns headed north

8:45pm ish. GLC 399 Leading GLC 398 north at Broadway St. in Mount Pleasant. They cut their train and left it on the main. They plucked the 7 hoppers from the siding and shoved them onto the old customer track. Afterwards they pulled down, tied back onto their train and brought it down to Pickard where they spotted 10 TFOX former SULTRAN Gons in the cleared siding.

After making their setout, they continued north with 34 empty hoppers for Rosebush. One of these was in Rock Island Livery. I am watching to see if they bring anything south.

Northbound Cuts:

10 TFOX Gons Spotted in mount P.
34 For Rosebush

44 total with 399 and 398 for power

10:15p GLC 398, GLC 399 light power back south through mount pleasant.

Here is a quick shot I grabbed of them earlier at Broadway

Thanks for posting your observations. I liked it . It'd be nice if GLC could find some local business for Mt. Pleasant...and Traverse City while they're at it .

Left Cadillac for Clare at 0955.

GLC south through Mount pleasant 1:56pm. GLC 399 Leading GLC 398 and 36 cars. I heard them go north shortly after 11:30 this morning

392 and 395 return to Cadillac at 1530 with 2 covered hoppers, a string of at least 12 tie loads, 1 covered hopper, 2 wood chip hoppers, 3 empty pulpwood flats, 1 tank, 3 covered hoppers, 1 empty pulpwood flat, 1 empty centerbeam and 2 covered hoppers.
