Quick update, they plan to wye in Pontiac so it'll trail both ways. Tomorrow, since they're gonna be on the CN, I'd expect them to add two more cars to comply with the minimum axle counts on the detectors.

Amtrak 945 FRA Train with AMTK 29 and 7 cars (5 normal, last 2 inspection) is currently in Porter, should move to the NS in the next 5-10 minutes.

Wolverine Service Trains 351 and 354: Signal Improvements between Ann Arbor and Pontiac
Effective May 8 - 11, 2017

Signal improvements taking place between Ann Arbor and Pontiac will affect Trains 351 and 354 on the dates shown below:

Train 354: Monday through Wednesday, May 8, 9 and 10, 2017

Train 354, which normally operates between Chicago and Pontiac, will terminate at Ann Arbor. Customers will be provided bus service from Ann Arbor to Dearborn, Detroit, Royal Oak, Troy and Pontiac.

Train 351: Tuesday through Thursday, May 9, 10 and 11, 2017

Train 351, which normally operates between Pontiac and Chicago, will originate in Ann Arbor. Customers will be provided bus service from Pontiac to Troy, Royal Oak, Detroit, Dearborn and Ann Arbor. At Ann Arbor, customers will transfer to Train 351 making all remaining stops on the route.

Bus Departs 45 Minutes Earlier: Please pay close attention to the bus departure time on your ticket. The bus replacing Train 351 will depart Pontiac 45 minutes earlier (at 5:00 am) and depart 45 minutes earlier at all stations through its arrival in Ann Arbor.

Amtrak F40/NPCU #406 has been on the Pere Marquette the past few days, opposite P42 #27 on the other end. Three Superliners have been standard. 406 was on the East end the past few days, tonight 27 is leading P370 east and I'm not certain if the consist was wyed and 406 is not on the west end of if it's another unit...
