Where is MP 141? Also that southbound freight reported at Rose Twp. should be D701, who was reported leaving Flint this morning at approximately 7:20am.GP30M4216 wrote:Busy morning so far!
D702 eastbound clear at mp141, CSXT 7777 leading.
Q326 currently westbound at the detector at mp44.2 at Wells, CSXT 471 leading.
N800 behind a pair of BNSF ACe's ruled the grade and ascended Saugatuck Hill between 0800 and 0830 with help from pushers. Once at the summit, the pushers cut off and have now gone back west to shove Q326. N800 passed the Holland depot about 0900.
D700 should be arriving a Waverly Yard now if not a few minutes ago.
CH 141 is Fox. For reference, ~CH25 is Plymouth, and ~CH150 is Grand Rapidsatrainguy60 wrote:Where is MP 141? Also that southbound freight reported at Rose Twp. should be D701, who was reported leaving Flint this morning at approximately 7:20am.GP30M4216 wrote:Busy morning so far!

That is awesome! Very good to have them both running on the same day! So if they stay consistent each day, then Fowlerville or Williamston will probably be frequent meet points then.BL2-1843 wrote:WOW! D70201 is in the siding at Fowlerville to meet D70101 who was by Howell at 11:15 with CSX 9028+5384 and only 31 cars. Can not even begin to remember when the last time two road freights meet each other in Fowlerville, let alone two road freights between GRP & Flint. Call them any train number you want, "D" Train or otherwise, just call them. Crew on D701 is the same regular crew that has been on D708 for quite some time.
Maybe running it 6-7 days a week versus 4 will keep the tonnage down.....hmmmm?SD80MAC wrote:No push for 326 today, not heavy enough.
D701 01 Approaching Sunfield. Just copied an EC1 for an activation failure in Lake Odessa.BL2-1843 wrote:WOW! It was D702. It was going through downtown Holly at 2:42pm.firemedic54 wrote:Now a northbound coming through Rose Twp. headed towards Holly. I could barely see the lead engine but last numbers looked like 77. The view from the fire station is pretty obscured.
