Q326 with CSXT 871, 87, 7673 and 161 cars, clear Zeeland, 1034am.

First 35 cars looked like the type of covered hoppers Buzzi gets in Grandville but I know other placed get them too.

To avoid having to scroll to the end and read backwards, change your preferences:

Go to: User Control Panel / Board Preferences / Edit Display Options / Display Topic Order Direction / Descending

This way the latest posts will be at the top, which makes the new format much easier to handle.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

P.s., as others have indicated, the old/legacy posting mode of daily was working well!!

The new cement business up in Elmira may be coming up from the Chicago area to AnnPere for interchange. That could also have been what you saw on 326. Without knowing where its from though...that's a semi edumacated guess. And then again...BUZZI may be getting busy as would be High Grade too. High Grade product comes out of the Ottawa, Illinois area on the ex Rock Island. Buzzi may come out of far west central Indiana IIRC on the old Monon.

The new customer on GLC gets their cement from the same place as Buzzi, FWIW.

SB autorack train cleared Plymouth diamond at 17:35. Not sure where it came from; perhaps North Yard - it did not come off the Detroit Sub. First saw as I looked west from Station 885. Tried to catch it at Lilley on my bike but failed. Two CSX units and 19 autoracks. No scanner with me. Hadn't seen it on ATCS either, if it came from Flint.

I agree that I prefer the old method.

You can also use this link. It it will display the threads that have new posts from the last time you visted. If you click on the smaller page Icon to the right of the large page icon your browser will then take you to the most recent post that your haven't read. That's the method I use everytime I visit to read the forums.

Not necessarily this, but on three separate deliveries to GLC by D708 this past week, D708 delivered to GLC a total of 117 cars. 52 cars on Tuesday, putting them in the Howell pass. On Thursday, 35 more were delivered to GLC, and with permission in advance, D708 spotted the cars on the GLC main, one mile south of the transfer, south of Beck Road. Later Thursday, GLC came to Howell on an Ann Pere turn, came over onto CSX to pick up the 52 cars delivered on Tuesday, left 21 there for CSX, and then picked up the 35 delivered on Thursday, and went back to Owosso with 87 cars. On Friday, D708 picked up the 21 cars from GLC, and placed 30 more for GLC in the Howell pass. With this new GLC business, its a good thing D708 does not go to Plymouth anymore to shuttle through traffic.

It's for the greater good. I'm going to force myself to get used to it, if I have to, I guess.
