They called the RN to report the road work on Hilltop Rd... Supposedly they're digging very close to the ballast. Might be needing a flagman.

The last D705, 70525, went west by Howell at 18:35 with CSX 748+5350 and CN 2021. 83 cars. Don't think I ever seen one of those CN 2100 series units before, even as long as they have had them, Next to the last car was a Chessie System type sand car, still with B&O reporting marks. Have not seen one of those in years.

Did you see the group at Tippy Cow Ice Cream? Group of GR folk generally meet down there around 8pm on Tuesday evenings for ice cream and some will stay for Amtrak and now, Q327. I know they were down there tonight...and I can't wait to re-join next week, now that my "north pole" duties are wrapping up

What must be eastbound D700 has 16 axles, 217 feet at 91.9 DD at 13:14 ET. Was westbound at noon.

From 3:00-3:30, Y121 switched the Ottawa Beach spur in Holland. They left their Stow boxcar near the Wesco Station at Lakewood and Douglas and headed west lite unit for TLC/Ryder/MNS at the end of the line. Three TBOX boxcars were on their spur (had been four this past Sunday). They brought all three out, setoff the western-most car which must have been emptied on what remains of the line to Ottawa Beach, returned the other two, then coupled up to their one car and headed east, for a grand total of two boxcars returning to Waverly Yard.

As for other Holland area industries:

Zeeland Lumber-Zeeland - 2 full centerbeams
VanDenBosch and Plasticore-Zeeland - both empty

D700 has CSXT 6545 today.

N800-26 with BNSF 9167 leading east has a clear indication at Vine CG 92 at 18:47 ET. 532 axles, 6989 feet at 91.9 DD. Clear indication at Hilltop.

Amtrak P370-26 with AMTK 27 leading east has an Approach Limited indication at Vine at 21:06. 20 axles, 364 feet at 91.9 DD. Approach indication at Hilltop at 21:08.

Southbound local CSX D737-26 is flying past 12 Mile in Novi, MI at 9:42 PM.
