0900 hrs, D700 had a rolling meet with Q326 between 112th and 120th Avenues in Holland. D700 had a single geep and ~30-35 cars. Q326 has CSXT 3056, BNSF 7517 and CSXT 2048 with 73 cars, including 3 coils, lots of Gon's and about 10 flatcars of American pipe.....For that controversial gas pipeline in Livingston and Washtenaw counties, I wonder?

EDIT - D700 had at least 3 coil cars and will be going long to Sawyer.

Those pipe cars are probably for that industry that Y106 serves.

American Cast Iron Pipe Co in Alto. They ship pipe all over the place, so it's possible they're dealing for this pipeline, but bear in mind that this is a regional distribution hub which gets tons of pipe regularly.

The pipe on Q326? Was it black and cast iron? Or wrapped and yellow?
The pipe for Y106 USUALLY comes on Q335 from Toledo...oppps no 335. But the routing is to Louisville then Cincy then Toledo so it would be out of its norm.
But now a daze...who knows?

Alto pipe has been coming from Toledo and Chicago recently. Historically it always came from Toledo.

I'd love to see the routing. Birmingham to Toledo, then Chicago, THEN GRP? Wouldn't be surprised. Then again it might come up thru Evensville and Danville. One can always hope.

N800-08 is east at Vine CG 92 at 22:27 ET. 532 axles, 6979 feet at 91.9 DD. Sounds like BNSF 9198 leading. Clear indication at Hilltop CG 90.
