Biewer Sawmill in McBain loads lumber occasionally. They also load the wood chips and infrequently logs.

Re: Great Lakes Central Updates March 2017
I apologize for not staring a new thread, but this seemed like a great place to ask these GLC questions (you seem very knowledgeable on GLC matters). Does anyone know the GLC NBD Owosso to Clare train schedule, if there anything that resembles one that is? What is the name of the Sub from Owosso to Clare? There seems to be a great deal of confusion on this subject due to the high turnover in ownership over the decades and different railroads owning different portions of it. It's one of my railfanning goals to film this line during the spring/summer this year.
THANK YOU for any guidance or help, I appreciate it!!

The Owosso-Clare Turn usually, but not always, leaves Owosso between 8-10am.
I "think" the Owosso-Cadillac district is called the Clare Sub.

When the day crew runs to Osmer, does the afternoon crew ever run to Clare?
Re: Great Lakes Central Updates March 2017
Sometimes yes, other times they run to Oakley or Middleton and sometimes they're annulled. They have even run to AnnPere / Osmer on both shifts. Due to an increase in business, capacity challenges and interchange connections inconsistencies their schedule can change from day to day.

Traverse City run
[quote="AANscaleRunner"]Northbound out of Cadillac at 0920.
There hasn't been a train here in TC for over a week, enough time for a light coating of rust on the rails. But today I see they shined them back up.

Re: Traverse City run
They were up in TC last Thursday the 2nd (actually saw them along Woodmere when taking off on my Delta flight), and then again yesterday (didn't see them- just back from Denver last night).Pixl wrote:AANscaleRunner wrote:Northbound out of Cadillac at 0920.
