CSXT Train Location updates: 2/22/2017

Unread post by GP30M4216 »

0930 hrs: Q326 is at Fennville getting a push up the hill. BNSF 6532 leading. 106 cars.

Also sounds like a V764 is westbound coming into GR at Madison Street. CSXT 4537 leading the way.

0943 hrs: D700 was already at WE Saugatuck as Q326 passed. They have CSXT 2659 for power and are now proceeding west. The helpers are cutting off and then running back to EE Wells where they will tie down. D700 has 28 axles westbound.

Y106 just left with 8644 in the lead 1012

LORAM RGS2 is sitting on the fuel racks on the east end. They'll go on duty at 2000 and grind til 0800, their normal schedule. I doubt they'll make it past Elmdale tonight. If you don't have anything to do, I highly suggest watching them work. Those guys are great and it's really incredible to watch.

It's actually 8446, they're picking up one empty flat from American Cast Iron and then they'll be back westbound.

EDIT: Westbound at 12:59

What I assume was D706 through Williamston about a half hour ago heading East I missed the headend but appeared to be long. Any updates on D908 or D708??

Y106 is WB at Madison with CSXT 8446 long hood forward. And G010 has highballed thru Seymour both at 1643.

Edit 1647: G010 clear Shaffer CSXT 4537 out.

You saw D708. There is no D706. D708 only becomes D908 if it needs to be recrewed after 10:30 pm.
