With the price of crude in the low to mid 50's range the permian basin, among others is surging again. Sand loadings are also.
Go to http://oilprice.com and sign up for their newsletter. Lists rig counts, crude prices, gasoline refinery runs, imports and exports. All ties together with short sand hoppers coming out of storage.
Either that or someone offered a cheaper storage price and they are moving them but i doubt that. I see the longer term ones along 131 at Hughart are gone. Mostly old plastic bead hoppers. Not much at the Fisher yard at 36th street anymore either.
