You're welcome. No movement north today. There is one centerbeam in Selma Yard waiting for the trip north.

That CSX coke hopper was in yesterday's northbound sandwiched between the usual private car's that carry coke. I'd say a misroute by CSX.

When I went to lunch I saw fresh tracks in the snow (about all I get in RR fanning anymore) that they had been thru to Wilamsburg and back today.

They brought up 2 loaded center beam loads and took one empty one from last week back to Cadillac.Pixl wrote:When I went to lunch I saw fresh tracks in the snow (about all I get in RR fanning anymore) that they had been thru to Wilamsburg and back today.

Maybe my dream of seeing six-axle power go through Cadillac isn't too far fetched.

Re: Great Lakes Central Updates January 2017
Am I the only one the finds it interesting that GLC took an NS SD60-something to Clare and back?????? Now I know that GLC will get a run through NS grain train on occasion, but are they then free to use the NS engine on a local train as well (as long as it's on their property, they have free use of it perhaps)? I bet the GLC crews enjoyed that being able to play with a big engine, LOL. And I wish someone got a pic of it coupled to the GP38-2- I imagine it looked tiny compared to the NS loco!

Re: Great Lakes Central Updates January 2017
I was going to shoot them yesterday, but they caught me off guard and the pic turned into a short sloppy video. I am hopeful they run today and keep the same lash up! Someone did get a shot from Alma, and uploaded it to a group on Facebook. Unfortunately, it was a southbound move, and the NS unit was trailing.TC Man wrote:I bet the GLC crews enjoyed that being able to play with a big engine, LOL. Here is the shot someone captured in Alma.

I'm also curious how GLC managed to get the opportunity to use NS SD60 on their regular train.
