A short NB went past MP 22.5 on the Holly around 9:00 am this morning. Didn't see the power. Maybe a returning weekend evening 513 Local (some of the freight cars would fit this job: boxcars and covered hoppers, but no empty bulkhead flats) or an early 391 (didn't see any autoracks but not sure how much of the train I did see).

Train 515 with 6223 SB past MP 22.5 at10:25 am.

And Train 515 NB just went by MP 22.5 on its way back to Pontiac at 5 pm.

116 good to depart Pontiac southbound at 1:12 AM.

As the crew gave the mark up the reception here at the house was fading in to the static. I goy the first 2 engine numbers ok (listed below) the third was not so clear.

GTW 6225, I am 85 % sure I got this one correct.

514 is just arriving at Pontiac GTW 4916 leading.

They have IC 3129 that they will be leaving at Pontiac along with the rest of their set off.
Then along with the car they will pick up they will also grab CN 5777.

Assuming I did hear correctly that train 116 picked up GTW 6225, I am wondering if IC 3129 will take the place of 6225.

At 8 am a SB went past MP 22.5 Holly with two locomotives. Sort of looked like a 280 as it was mostly autoracks but it did have a fair amount of mixed freight mixed in throughout the train.

Last night I was in Pontiac and noticed the spare Amtrak locomotive parked at the station track next to the parking lot and it was facing north (26). Probably as I guessed that 350 when it arrives around 3 pm takes the spare locomotive that is then facing south and puts it on the south end of its train and shoves its locomotive that is on the north end of the train into this track before it loads at the station. Then the two overnighted trains sets as well as as this spare locomotive is wyed in the middle of the night at Belt Line Junction at the north end of Pontiac Yard by an Amtrak/GTW crew for the next day trains.

At 10 am Train 950 with 6223 went SB past MP 22.5 with two tanks.

At 10:25 am Train 515 went SB past MP 22.5 with IC 3129 per Jim's prediction. Looked like a GP or SD40 with the three fans. Can't see the trucks from my house as the tracks are in a ditch. Painted in the current CN colors.

At 2:40 pm Train 451 went NB with 5412 leading a 5700.

Right on its block at 2:50 same track, Main 2, was returning 950 with a few cars.

Then right now at 2:55 pm was Amtrak 350 with 34 as power on Main 1. We will see if 26 is the power when it heads back to Chicago later this afternoon.

A short autorack train led by a single unit was crossing Van Slyke Rd in Flint at 5:50 PM headed WB.

heard 391 roughly 30 to 45 minutes ago getting in to Pontiac CN 2895 Leading.

Also for what it is worth, GTW 6223 is headed out to the scrap metal place along the old Lake Orion Sub. CN still calls it "Sam Allen's" I for the life of me can not recall the current name of the Place.

Are you talking about the place south of Collier Road? That place is called Ferrous. Wish the roads were better so I could get out there and see it.
Also, does anyone know if they will run all the way to Orion Yard to run around the train? I have read that they do that sometimes when they switch the scrap yard, but looking at a map of the track, that doesn't make sense, as Ferrous is accessible only from the south.
