Since the weather turned cold, have any of the WOLVERINES or BLUE WATER consists been Superliners?
Regarding the #48 fiasco on Tuesday, I just learned that the problem was the AmDinette, which had flat wheels and was set out at Utica.

Normally 350 and 355 will get superliners, however last year I do not think they did at any point (or if they did it was a very short period). I would not be surprised to see superliners at some point this year, however I would also not be surprised if we do not see any.. I believe its a pure toss up this year based on management and other factors. For the last couple years, Superliners were very common January-March on the 350 and 355, and then the last two years they were used less each year. I hope they come back, as since we do not get any different Amtrak locomotives it gives some variety. It is also nice to ride up high, and for a short time with the observation lounge car.

353 just narrowly missed a Collison with a car. Apparently a car was stuck at cross and river in Ypsilanti, and last second another car pushed them from behind, freeing the stick car. Neither car was hit, 353 dumped the air and stopped. Called distpatcher, and departed DIB no issues. A little bump and run saved many people's days.

Amtrak 355 has a heritage bagge car. Its just being towed around (not in use), trainset should look nice with P42 28, amfleet coaches 82536, 82541, 82543, AmCafe 48179, and heritage bag car 1751.
