GLC was in Howell last night picking up 55 cars off the Howell pass on CSX with 392 facing north, (west by me) and 396-393 back to back. 20 tie loads, 7 coke loads, the usual amount of tank cars and grain/plastic. Several days prior, GLC sat off 70 cars in the Howell pass which CSX later took to Plymouth. This once a week large interchange of cars is becoming the new norm.
I suppose with typical covered hopper, hopper and tank car business, which is 99% of GLC's traffic base, once a week service might be good enough.

PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...
398 and 392 left Cadillac for Clare at 1030 with 2 covered hoppers, 6 tanks, 3 tie loads and 7 tanks.
392 and 398 returned at 1620 with 7 coke hoppers, 2 tanks, 1 covered hopper, 2 tanks, 1 pole load, 18 tanks, 1 pole load, 1 covered hopper and 1 tarped hopper.
GLC not working today out of Cadillac. Usual tanks in North yard (lots of them on a few tracks). Usual coke hoppers, many 3 Bay covered hoppers in Selma yard. 2 covered hoppers and pole load on main across road from the yard.
Interesting sight is a line of at least 6 empty center beams in Selma yard. Assume for the place in McBain, but didn't know they loaded many cars?
Update:
9 tanks at the transload in Kalkaska, one empty center beam at Amerhart in Williamsburg (this was brought up as a load on Wednesday).
CEO of the Waving Institute- teaching great wave forms.

Here I am in the "re-hab" corner of my living room where I spend much of my time recovering from knee surgery. kC was nice enough to send me a high res file of his recent GLC photo making it suitable to print out a great looking 8X10 behind me. Thanks Kelly.
