CN Updates 2nd half January 2015

Looks like the CN updates have been thin lately?

397 in scanner at Sarnia right now.

Also had what looked like a 385 come through the tunnel. Strangely, it was a short 385 with a ?-711 on the back. Is CN combining freight with empty oil trains now? Power was a BCOL cowl (4621) and CSX 444. F/R.

Sounds like a D-711 is what came through. I thought that was a CSX symbol around here...?

Also have a 332 heading east soon.

397 has CN 2177(f) and BNSF 1097(f).

332 appears to be waiting for a signal to head east.

332 has CN 5516 and NS 7537 F/R.

Looks like D711 is leaving. Didn't hear them markup and not sure if they're heading down the Mt Clemens sub or across the Flint sub.

Eastbound just through Lansing with CN 5468 & 2432. Looked like an M390 from what cars were in the train.

This may be a bit too late, but M371 had CN #5749 and NS #7537 leading on the Shoreline Sub north through Wyandotte at 1300 hours.

Eastbound just through Lansing with CN 5468 & 2432. Looked like an M390 from what cars were in the train.

To my knowledge, 390 hasn't ran the Flint sub for the last 3 or 4 years. Most likely M34841 for Sarnia. Although, from prior posts, they'll often run an X390 between Pt. Huron and Sarnia.

CN 5468 was 502. They were southbound by MAL in Pontiac at 8:30pm.

391 was also in Ponitac with CN 2016 and 2018.

EJE 666 is drilling auto racks in GM at Cory yard in Lansing.

502 with IC 1021 and CN 5738 was by Scott Lake Road in Waterford at 8:55pm

Another train was about 30 minutes behind 502 with CN 2507 solo.

391 departed from Pontiac at 9:55pm with BNSF 6548 and BNSF 6819.
