Marquette gp38 switching the elevator in newayo, moving cars between tracks. I foolishly forgot to look for a loco number, so if someone else knows, I'd love to have it for my records...

BTW, 4 cars, 3 tanks and a CH, setoff in Grant, and 4 CHs parked at the elevator in Fremont on the MS.

So that was the unit I heard today, heard them while doing a job over by the fairgrounds, had an interesting sounding horn.

Just a few Observations from the Saginaw area. Peavy/Gavilion grain in Carrollton is having some track work done. Looks to be mostly ties and ballast on the river side so far. Also see a few rails there too.

On the south end the old C&O building used for the GM Malleable iron foundry crews has been torn down and replaced with a parking lot.

Rare Sunday GLC action in Cadillac. 397 brought in poles for McBain and a string of sand hoppers around 11 AM. Nice week-end surprise.

Few trains in Saginaw:
HESR 740? With the NECR 3852, and what I believed to be 2014 was working Gennesse yard.
LSRC Z127 With more CSX Power looked ready to head south soon. CSXT 113 and a YN3 ES40DC Was the power.
Anyone know why LSRC is using CSX power like crazy?

Runthrough Power on Grain Trains, Coal, etc. Grain is hopping right now. To add to this list, was out in Brown City today, HESR 3866 was working some CSX Grain hoppers out there, also Marlette has a bunch of CSX Grain Hoppers at its elevator.
