Meanwhile, CFE 3885 finished up morning switching around Muskegon around 9:30. Handbrake applied, crew to the office.

Coal Empties sitting south of Birch Run, appeared to have a pair of H3 BNSF GEVOs for power.

On the way to work this morning i seen the job to Paines on the LSRC power was the 4302, and the 4301 he had 4 cars, 3 loads of fertilizer in CH's, And a empty box car for bagged seed loading.

HESR 770 was at Saginaw Yard around 8pm with HESR 3865, CMGN 8804, and HESR 3867.

HESR 702 departed from Wenona Yard in Bay City at 10:30am. HESR 2668, 2661, and 3868.

Spotted the Detroit Connecting RR (DCON) going to the GTW @ 1130 with Adrain & Blissfield 836. Spotted them coming back from the GTW @ 1315.

LSRC had a northbound grain train passing through Birch Run at 3:15pm.

Power was LSRC 800, 4301, and 4302.

NECR 3852, HESR 701, is ready to leave Durand with 68 cars.

Interesting to note that HESR went north out of Durand this afternoon with a loaded coal train, and about 30-45 minutes later 702 showed up southbound. They must've met somewhere along the line, not sure where there are still sidings along that route, I know Lennon was partially removed last year.

On the way home from work i cought the job from Paines, For power was the 4302, 4301, and the 800 and only two cars an empty fertilizer CH and an empty center beam bulkhead from Bear Truss, With that much power he might have taken an empty grain train out there. I wonder SD80MAC if 702 pulled into the Lennon siding and when the coal train cleared he backed out of the siding and continued south just a thought.

Montrose is the only other active siding left on the Durand line that I know of.

Yesterday was a busy day for HESR by the sounds of it. Around 2:05pm A corp unti, I think 3868, crossed the Mershon diamond with 62 csx empty grain cars, assuming for Auburn.

WAMX 3829 is currently switching Otsego Paper. Looks like they'll be pulling out a pretty big cut of TTX boxcars.

Edit: Pulled out the entire load of 21 cars.

A Southbound HESR train was entering Saginaw 1520, a big cut of tankers and grain cars were all I saw. The 2nd unit appeared to be a GP38-2. Could this be a late 702 or 740?

Im pretty sure those cars came off the 800 job today. Caught them sitting on the east side of the LSRC yard today early afternoon while LSRC was coming in from Gavilion in Carollton

Spotted the Detroit Connecting RR (DCON) in Detroit, MI going to the GTW with one tankcar at 1050. Did not see them come back but heard them around 1300 or so. Locomotive put away in its pen by 1400.
