CSX Train Location Updates 1/18/13

Q335 pulling west from Seymour at 0637. I don't know how long they have been holding there but the RN just gave them permission to start pulling west again.

Late Edit: 335 had CSX 426 & 659 for power.

CSX 4728 southbound just cleared 7 Mile Rd. with a train I never heard of , Q258-17 (could have been Q458-17, in any case it was something58 - 17). When he called out the symbol - at both 9 Mile Rd. & 7 Mile Rd., he was very hesitant, like he couldn't remember what train he was on. I checked for grain train symbols and could not find a G258 or G458 listed.

D707 westbound through Woodbury at 08:53. Saw them through the trees from Grandmas house, no scanner. Looks like about a dozen cars today.

326 met 700 at hudsonville, y195 on the double track in grandville. Yard jobs on each end drilling cars. Y106 meeting 707 at plaster creek before they head east. RN broke Lamar pretty good, maintainer working on a solution. Hand throwing the plant for now.

Update:
D700 one way today, Lamar fixed just before noon. Track guys replacing broken rail on old even just west of plaster creek.

Just finishing up grinding the repair on the old even and clearing up.

Also, what is up with the gons and coil cars at engine house?

A CSX engine was leading a cut of Steel Coil cars onto the CSX at CP Lou around 11am.

Q151 was sitting at Delray a little after noon. CSX 7371 leading.

How in the world did an N956 Essexville load get from Chicago to east of GRP without anybody reporting it? N956 with pushers on the rear approaching Fox at 20:55 with BNSF 6381 leading. Running about 30 minutes behind Q334 with CSX 659 & 426 for power. The grain train At Grand Ledge that came in as G947 should leave as G94218.
