NS Heritage Unit Location Updates

Please post all updates on the locations of any of the NS Heritage Units here!

Conrail 8098 is on its first assigment, it is leading 5 other NS units on NS 578, a coal train bound for Virginia. It was past CP Mace WB on the NS Ft Wayne District at 4:50pm, it will make the turn south at Bucyrus onto the NS Sandusky District and head towards Marion, Columbus, etc. I will post updates as it heads south, and will be waiting on it in Worthington.

Also, Southern 8099 is out of the paint shops with lettering and decals completed, it is currently coupled to N&W 1776 in Chattanooga awaiting it's first assignment.

OHRF, also EMDX 2012 came back on 17M today, no one here saw it though, or has any idea where it might be now...

Conrail 8098 leading NS 578 past Cooke Rd in Columbus at 10:30pm, it looks incredible!

After arriving with NS 578, Conrail 8098 is currently leading NS 83G in Bluefield, WV. This train is destined for Roanoke, VA.

Southern 8099 was on its first revenue train, 132 Chattanooga-Knoxville, TN. It is now slated to leave Knoxville on NS 38Q which is also destined for Roanoke, VA.

Looks like NS wants these units going right to work in coal country.

Conrail 8098 last reported in Roanoke, VA over the weekend.

Southern 8099 lead unit on empty coal train from Bulls Gap, TN to Andover, VA yesterday 3/26.

Nickel Plate unit is in Altoona, although conflicting reports on whether or not it's paint is finished. Also, 8103 arrived in Altoona in primer, will be the next Heritage unit after the NKP is done.

8101 is in the shops in Chattanooga being painted into the Central of Georgia scheme.

Word has it CR/NS 8098 will be on a NS 866 on the NKP. Out of Bellevue at 1520.

As of about 1300, NS 8099 was with the 8056 loading a coal train at the Dixiana mine north of Norton, VA.

Conrail 8098 is currently in East Chicago after leading on 866 as mentioned above.

Southern 8099 last reported in VA moving coal.

Nickel Plate 8100 is currently sitting in Ashtablula, OH after taking its maiden voyage on 61M last night out of Conway.

Also, EMDX 2012 is currently leading 290 through PA.

As of Yesterday NS 8100 (NKP) was still at Ashtabula.

EDIT: The 8100 left Ashtabula last night on the point of 62M, heading back to Conway.
