Holy cow that's a big train, especially for a local on the Detroit Division! What power did it have for all those cars?

CSX 2567 and 4411 looked to be the D700 power when I was there earliar this evening. 2564 was working the west end. 2610 and 2576 were being moved around in the shop to be fueled and sanded, so it's possible they were added to D700 later.

What division does D700 work? If they have cars for Muskegon I would think it's west of Grand Rapids but don't know for sure :?
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

I saw that too. D700 runs from Grand Rapids west, so they operate over the Grand Rapids Terminal Sub and the Grand Rapids Sub. Some days they operate to Holland and then north to Haarlem on the old Freemont Sub, other days (I think M-W-F), they operate down the GR Sub farther to service Bangor, Hartford, Watervliet, Coloma, Benton Harbor, St. Joe, Sawyer, and Livingston. I'm sure Dok will know the most current days they switch down that way. Either way, it's great to hear there is so much traffic for that area! Maybe Chris meant the Chicago Division... or the Detroit Service Lane?

Y121 still works up the Fremont Sub to Harlem.

Thanks Nathan. That's pretty darn impressive for a local!

Perhaps that's why the CN brass is supposedly on the n/SOU OCS train, looking at routing to access Kirk yard; althought it would require some more trackwork to work Kirk off the NS more efficiently.

My notes indicate that they had 2520, and 6083, but added 2691 after they had pulled the train down to Ivanrest. Adding the third unit to the front of the consist, made an interesting move to watch that night.

Last night? 6083 and 2520 went out on Q326 yesterday, so I don't know how that could've worked.
