Any news on where 326 will meet 327?

15:33 Edit: Wells it is. Q326 approach medium Fennville.
Hearing something @ 3:35pm about a crew change will be needed for Q327.

Q327 all stop at 120th Ave. I suppose this is where they’ll recrew. They left the original head end at Saugatuck so I’m wondering if they may go back and retrieve that once Q326 gets by. They haven’t started to tie the rear end of the train down though.

16:31 Q326 clear on a pair at Saugatuck. Worth noting the first 20-30 cars are stone loads

16:45: Q327’s fresh bodies are on board. They’ll run lite power to Saugatuck to retrieve the rest of the train, and then put it back together.

Yup Approach Medium at New Richmond, Approach at WE Saugatuck so he could run the main to the east end, where the conductor is currently placing the EOT - which they need/want for the trip down the hill. Then they’ll run back to the west end and into the siding onto the train. Not sure which half will become the head end when all of this is done, the RN said they’ll check the train list and see if it’s legal to swap ends, which would save them from moving the EOT again.

17:55 headed west from Saugatuck

Q327 should be all put back together and starting to leave Wells soon, if he hasn’t already. Everything is back in the original order. Hopefully the remainder of the run to Chicago is much less eventful for them.

SB D735 cleared Plymouth about 5 minutes ago. CSX 5468 + 5244 + 40 cars.
Just now, SB local cleared Lilley Rd, CSX 2772 running backwards, pushing 2 steel coil cars.

No chance of that one screwing up a bunch of crossings in Holland for several hours!

CSX #3094 is leading Q327-03 & has been working with the CSX #428 as the pusher engines here, may be rotating them out for a different pair of engines that will serve as the "pushers". Maybe the engines that were on yesterday's Q326, the CSX #3200 & #3230, will become the new pusher engines?
Q327 went into Holland to do work there.

All 17 of those Q327 cars may be Holland setoff. They just took a medium clear at Holland to exit the yard at 08:39. I’m not sure if they picked anything up or are just just lite engines...?

Any coal or MQT moving around this morning?

EDIT: Q327 west CSXT 3094 clear New Richmond, 9am. 12 axles, no cars.

These 2 CSX engines were being used as the Pusher engines.

Csx is staging a lot of work material at New Richmond. Lots of bundles of 17’ ties, ballast, rip rap, portable propane or maybe welding gas tanks. The long ties might be for the bridge, although it don’t think there are enough to relay the entire deck.

Q326-03 is currently going through Benton Harbor. Sounds like CSXT 594 leading.

Q326-03 @ 2:15:15pm at Bangor's Divison Street crossing mp Cg60.93 with CSX engines #594 + #5437 & 117 cars.
There's a 10mph speed restriction at the Saugatuck Hill & is concerned he may stall out at that speed & there are no other crews around to help out if he stalls.

Long WB mixed freight just turned south at Plymouth. Missed the lead engines, but DPU CSX 3286 was in the middle. 55 cars after, at least 29 before, likely closer to 50.
