A late running 116 SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 7:21 am with 5611 and 5764. Very long train with a long cut of mixed freight on the head end.

Does anyone know where the Loram® "Rail Grinder" is now, 6-4? I want to catch it!!!! Also, does anyone know when it will "Grind" the Mt. Clemens Sub.?

Rail Grinder is currently working north on Holly Main 1 between Moterm and MAL

Rail grinder is NB approaching Pontiac at MP 22.5. Not grinding behind my house, though. Delaying Amtrak 353's departure by a bit.

Rail grinder is now going SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 12 noon. Not grinding in my backyard today.

Now railgrinder is going NB again past MP 22.5 at 1:12 pm Must be grinding but not the usual soot and smoke blowing all over. Must be doing both mains.

2526 and 2411 with a short train SB at the same time, a rolling meet with 515 in the backyard. Very short train. Unknown train number.

Too far away to see numbers. Not a very long train.

Train 950 with 4619 SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 9:37 am.

Train 515 with 4929 SB past MP 22.5 at 10:33 in front of Amtrak.

Rail Grinder SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 1:30 pm. It is becoming a regularly scheduled train out here this week.

And the Rail Grinder again went NB past MP 22.5 at 2:20 pm.

Train 515 returning to Pontiac past MP 22.5 at 4:15 pm.

And at 4:46 pm, 950 with 4619 NB past MP 22.5 working very hard up the hill with 32 cars.

My guess is 2 engines lite, heading up to Durand to pick up coal empties from HESR.

In the CN Battle Creek yard: Loram rail grinder tied down behind Kelloggs west of the old GTW loco shops, a little difficult to see. Flat bed semi load of rail wheel sets waiting to unload at the car shop. Orange EJE 661 resting near the yard tower, CN paint IC 6100 looked to be getting ready to head west with a train, and gray GTW 5947 waiting to pull one east. Quite a mix this morning!

A late 950 returning to Pontiac went by Pontiac Amtrak at 3:44 PM with 4619.
