L302 had 5491 + 4042 trailing 5294, for sure this morning, when going by Howell at 05:18 with 93 cars, lots of stone loads on the rear. 4042 was set off in Lansing. Expect 4042 will replace one of the 4000 series units currently running on L304-305. L302 met G791-01 grain load from Grand Ledge at Williamston. 920 +3446 and 93 cars.

L302 had 5491 + 4042 trailing 5294, for sure this morning, when going by Howell at 05:18 with 93 cars, lots of stone loads on the rear. 4042 was set off in Lansing. Expect 4042 will replace one of the 4000 series units currently running on L304-305.

Correct, L302 had 5294 leading and 5491 trailing. Had 18 loaded crushed stone cars near rear end. They had to reduce speed while heading downhill from Fox.

The consist looked mostly like a heavy pickup of Michigan Shore traffic. 4 hoppers from Buzzi, 4 coils, 20-some loaded sand hoppers, and a few tanks on the end. Sd40-2 8096 working hard at Zeeland.
