C801-04 @ 20:13 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG91.9 St Joseph, Mi with 532 axles. BNSF engine #9091 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #9062. He'll wait at Riverside mp CG80.1 for Amtrak P370 to clear by & then head to Grand Jct siding mp CG55.6 & tie down.

M326-04 @ 20:16 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG19.1 Zeeland, Mi with 356 axles. CSX engine #7253 + #886 & 86 cars.

R597-03 @ 21:05 copied their EC1 to depart Grand Jct Siding mp CG54.0 to proceed eastward to the power plant in West Olive, Mi after Amtrak P370-04 clears by. He has CSX engines #819 + #966 & BNSF engine #6290 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #9107. This was C800-03 that had tied down there on this morning. They had opted to have the CSX engines leading, as was set up this morning by C800-03.

L302-04 @ 23:17 westward clear 32nd St. MP CH145.3. There I caught the train as it crossed (5222 has a unique horn) but as it did pass car 28 was leaking gravel, pictured below.

That was R597-04 with BNSF engine #9291 & 130? empty coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #8446 & CSX “Pusher engines” #966 + #819. He had taken Wells Siding mp CG41.4 to tie down. His next job is to move out loaded coal train C801-04 that had tied down in Grand Jct siding mp CG54 last night.

13:42 - L305-05 west thru EE Brighton with solo unit 4057 leading 9 cars. Evidently they made it to South Lyon today.
On my way back from East Lansing I stopped at WE Williamston, Webberville, and WE Brighton, and Hi-Rails were stationed next to the tracks at all locations.
The land around the yard office at Brighton has changed a bit. Looks like a retaining wall has been put in. I will post those pictures in the work thread.

Not sure where they're going to put him. R597-04 was supposed to move out C801-04 that's tied down in Grand Jct siding mp CG54 but he was having mechanical issues with the CSX "pusher engine" #966 after they had tied down an empty coal train in Wells Siding mp CG43.3
