508 just passed MP 22.5 with that stub nosed GE 2501 trailing. A few containers on the head end, rest pretty mixed except no boxcars, plenty of racks.

Q122 through Eckles Rd. (MP 324.76) @ 09:54. IC 6250 (OLS), IC 2702, & CN 2671 with 87 cars. Moving right along at track speed.

Yes, but this train waited on the siding at Tunnel Yard in Port Huron for a green! Hopefully it will remain there for a little while longer! It was still there at 11:10 a.m. Now I'm sending my friend Roger to capture this! Do we know if IC "OLS" 6250 is still sitting? Man!!!!

My friend Roger got to PH too late! MISSED!!!! Man, I had time to prepare for train Q-122 yesterday, March 16! The next Q-122 has BCOL C44-9W #4644 trailing second! Where is this train? Bill Grooms, Facebook, reported it "eastbound Mishawaka IN 1015pm!" Look for this train! Not as good as yesterday's missed Q-122, but it has one of two remaining "RED/WHITE/BLUE" BCOL C44-9Ws!!!!

It was still there when 365 departed this morning, sitting on the track that runs in front of the yard office....while a crew had just got on it, it was about to be blocked from leaving account of 148 pulling into main #1 to let C&I pull a few containers off the train for customs holds

That explains why the traces I was told about showed the UP unit in Port Huron throughout the night and into the morning. Thank you sir 🫡

On a side note: per a reliable source, L508 is going to have another SD40-2W (#5340) leading it. However it sounds like it’s going to be dropped in Pontiac and swapped out with the SD60 that’s been on the L515 job. If all goes according to plan, the 5340 *should* become L515’s new power.

On a side note: per a reliable source, L508 is going to have another SD40-2W (#5340) leading it. However it sounds like it’s going to be dropped in Pontiac and swapped out with the SD60 that’s been on the L515 job. If all goes according to plan, the 5340 *should* become L515’s new power.

Odds are no 5340 tonight for 508 as I’ve just been told. The head end telemetry device is apparently not working on it.
