A SB went past MP 22.5 in the dark around 6:45 am. Short train so I will presume it is a Saturday 515.

Re: CN Train Location Updates - February 2024
Folks, southbound train X383 with CN "EJE Heritage" ET44AC #3023 solo just came through fast on the Mount Clemens Subdivision!!!! Luckily I saw a Facebook® post at 3:18 p.m. I bike rode to the tracks at Masonic Road, Fraser! I only had a couple minutes! It had 57 cars, cleared Masonic Road at 3:38 p.m. WOW!!!! Just on Thursday (Feb. 22) I caught UP "Powered by Our People" SD70ACe #1111 in Detroit!!!!

21:43 Pontiac local headed south from a jaunt up the Orion/Cass sub. No visual; just happened to be outside and heard the horns. The southern wind picks up an assist.

251 just passed MP 22.5 at 11:20 am. A 5700 leading a 3100, I think, only the 5700 was working. Medium sized train, mostly autoracks, some gondolas with ties, some empty well cars.

Re: CN Train Location Updates - February 2024
OK Folks, CN "EJE Heritage" ET44AC #3023 did not come back north on train 382 today (2-25) as some predicted! I "ZOOMED" by bicycle to the tracks when I heard a northbound horn from my new house in Fraser around 11:30 a.m. Well I made it in time by a few minutes! The sound really travels on these new ET44ACs!!!! Instead, just two regular CN ones, #3034/3084 ,with 137 cars! It cleared Masonic Road approx. 11:40 a.m. The "J Heritage" unit instead was spotted on "Heritage Units" (by GabeStar19 ) at 11:28 today just sitting in the yard! Well, it probably will come back north on some train tomorrow! Does anyone here know?

Re: CN Train Location Updates - February 2024
This would be good! What train took "EJE Heritage" ET44AC #3023 to Flat Rock from Toledo yesterday? Well, it would be cool if it came back! OK, 3023's nose should be aimed east, judging by the direction it was aimed when turning to Flat Rock, that is to say if it wasn't "Wyed" at Walbridge or another loco added! We shall see! OK, I got train 383 after waiting a couple hours at the tracks when the signal was green! CN ES44AC #2989 leading with CN (ex Citi Rail) ES44AC #3926, and CN ES44AC #2911 Mid D.P.U., 142 cars, cleared Masonic Road, Fraser, at 4:42 p.m.David Collins wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 3:18 pm*should* (keyword: should) be on M384 tomorrow, unsure if leading or trailing.Robertrains wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 12:41 pmOK Folks, CN "EJE Heritage" ET44AC #3023 did not come back north on train 382 today (2-25) as some predicted! Re: CN Train Location Updates - February 2024
Southbound 508 by Linden at 5:25pm with 2 CNs and 76 cars.
Today's train had a good mix of cars. First 3 cars were intermodal, followed by 3 - 86' boxcars, which was kinda cool to see since you don't really see a whole lot of those cars anymore. (NS 18K and 19K thru Elkhart always have several 86 footers).
Anyway, the rest of 508 consisted of several tanks, a few more boxcars, some short covered hoppers, a few empty centerbeams, quite a few auotracks on the tail end, and a few other random cars mixed in.
