Why just between Trowbridge and Williamston?

Not familiar with any details, but possibly due to the impact of traffic around Lansing when the signals are not functioning properly or have code line problems. Lots of interrupted traffic flow when having to run restricted speed from Trowbridge to Williamstown.

The outages I recall recently were in the Howell and Brighton areas

He’s ready to depart from mp CGT2.0 & has work in Lansing. There was some static for his load quantity, it's either 20 or 28. Will know from the DD report.

R598-12 @ 12:09 eastward Holland, Mi Depot mp CG25.3 with BNSF engine #9123 & CSX engines #759 + #3243 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #9304. This was C801-11 that had tied down in Wells mp CG41.5 early this morning. In about ½ mile he’ll diverge onto the west end of the Wye & onto the Fremont sub-division.

Anyone catch that CP boxcar in today’s M326 with the KCS graffiti? Obviously someone has some feels about KCS. In a nice scripty text on the side it says “Go to He** Southern Belle” and there’s a KCS-style red logo that says Value Heavy Metal. Screen capture from the Bangor cam. Someone has some skills.

Code line is in very rough shape from Trowbridge to Fowlerville, especially around Williamston. Have had several occasions of red signals from Trowbridge to Williamston, which ties up traffic around MI State and surrounding communities. Also impacts train speeds and ability to pull the hill at Meridian, a tough pull at track speed with tonnage.

Yes Ann Pere is an issue, but apparently not a primary one.
