Q326-09 @ 13:47 eastward reported by the DD mp CG19.1 with 434 axles & 6,360 ft. CSXT engines #851 + #547 + mid dpu CSXT #938 & 104 cars. He had picked up 11 cars from Holland & he had also told Rouge the CSXT #547 is to go out on D706 & be taken to Peakers.

E801-07 @ 14:01pm with his entire train clear of the Holland Depot mp CG25.3 with BNSF engines #5916 + #5970 & 130 empty coal cars.

D702-09 @ 14:29 eastward reported by DD mp CG91.9 with 48 axles & 707 ft. CSXT engines #2349 + #2502 & 10 cars. He'll wait at Riverside mp CG80.1 for E801-07 to pass by.

E801-07 @ 16:10 westward reported by the DD mp CG91.9 with 532 axles & 7,012 feet long. BNSF engines #5916 + #5970 & 130 empty coal cars.

RN @ 16:43 was answering an employee emergency call on Ch. 35 from 109th Ave mp CG48.13 but could only hear the RN's side of the conversation. No idea what the nature of the emergency is & then he was told 108th Street but the mile post wasn't heard. RN had said he doesn't have a listing for that crossing (a newer one?). D700-09 is "overdue" for the DD reporting him at mp CG44.2 but no radio calls from him have been heard - he may be stopped. They might be communicating by cell phone.

@ 17:15 the RN called D702-09 saying "our people will be there shortly - can you call me on the phone". I didn't hear any emergency calls from D702 for whatever is going on. Police & everyone are on the scene - wondering now if D702 had hit a vehicle at the road crossing. RN also had told D702 that D801 is headed to them.

From Google Earth View, it shows a crossing with just cross-bucks & Stop signs, I don't know if this location was ever upgraded with equipment since it looks like a back road. Here's the link for the map page:

Went thru the scanner archives for the county police, D702 hit a truck at the 108th Ave crossing.

D706-10 went by Howell at 04:50 this morning with 38 cars. Despite the fact yesterdays D706-09 crew was well rested in Detroit and should have been by already, they are probably holding them there to be sure to get 346+454 back to GRP so it can the power can go back to Detroit again on tomorrows D706-11
