Two SB's past MP 22.5 this morning. A long one at 4:10 am and a short one at 4:40 am. Probably 402 and 116 and not necessarily in that order.

Train 251 went past MP 22.5 NB at 12:15 pm with one unit, CN 2891 (I think). Some headend cars for Pontiac. Some autoracks today but mostly mixed freight including some sand cars interspersed throughout and a long cut of CN rotary hoppers like from the short-lived unit coke trains. I presume it is a combined train with 401.

Train 515 has EJE 657 today. It passed MP 22.5 SB with a fairly long train at 8:35 am, again a bit earlier than usual.

Good news, CN 658 is spotting box cars at Great Lakes Recycling scrap paper in Fraser on Mt. Clemens Sub. Last I heard this was an inactive customer so it’s a pleasant surprise. There are about a dozen cars in it’s consist including cars that look like they come from the bulk transload at 8 Mile Rd. so I wonder if this train started in Pontiac rather than Port Huron?

L533 worked south from PH to Detroit yesterday - never returned to Port Huron - went dead at East Yard. Great Lakes has been receiving cars again for a little while. The tanks are from Sarnia related business which are hauled back and forth to East Yard for interchange with L515 out of Pontiac. Current L533 customers are Carter Lumber, B&D Drywall, Chrysler/FCA and Great Lakes Recycling - in addition to interchange traffic for East Yard.

L533N by Mount Clemens depot at 13:25 - EJE 658. They'll be back to work Mount Clemens tonight.

Alright Manistique, "EJE SD38-2 #657" is not reported for a "Train 515" today (4-4)! Maybe they will run with it next week!!!! Now, does anyone know if local train 533 is out today? Would they come down to Great Lakes Recycling® again? However it would be nice to see some "J" unit, even in "CN" paint!!!!

Train 514 was SB past MP 22.5 at 6:15 pm with three locomotives today: CN 5781, IC 9618 and CN 5340, the regulars lately but all together today. Some containers. Must have a big train going back to Flint tonight with all that power.
