CSX 4049 leading D707 Westbound. Passing through Sunfield at 09:30.

In Lake O at 09:40. Not sure if they had work in Lake O or were heading straight to GR. Radio has been silent since they called the signal in Lake O.

I'd be willing to bet that what you heard was that E945 PSG reported by Plymouth around noon.

D803 just departed from Wyoming westward. BNSF 9210 leading. It sounds like they may be taking a train back to West Olive with them.

BNSF 9210 was the leader of an eastern load to west olive this morning, N88924. BNSF 9335 was trailing. BNSFBen was right saying he thought he heard D708 going through Trowbridge at 1435, as D708 went back west long after E945 went west. E945 had BNSF 6388 & 6119 for power.

Little late, but this morning, a lone locomotive (sd 40-3) with an eot departed Wyoming yard westbound around 0930. Called signals as q327-25. Last night, I followed what I thought was q327-25 on my way to work. Seems strange...any insight is appreciated.

Q327 through Stevensville around 2pm or so...CSX 40?? leading, CSXT 7707, and CSX 85??

N903 through Bridgman around 6:04pm, BNSF 9892, BNSF 8832; should be around Benton Harbor around now.

Sure sounded like E945 was yarding earlier, talking about moving thru the yard on other than the main, but they just called WE Hudsonville.

Yeah, I heard there was one coming later on today over the scanner...I guess I'll be looking for it around 9pm or so in the BH/StJ area.

While I was at KFC in St. Joseph at the corner of Cleveland and Hilltop Rds., I saw P370-26 roll eastward through the Hilltop Rd grade crossing at 7:40pm: AMTK 115 leading, and 3 Superliners.

So after a pit stop at the pet store in Cutlerville, we were too late to catch Z151, so we went to Fuller to see Y297 go north into the run-around. I got more than I bargained for. Dad parked on the west side of the xing, and I went to the east side to get the WAS Fuller in my shot. What I forgot is the crew loves to park with their train on the crossing as they switch Haviland. So they pulled two tanks from their train, went back into the building retrieving 1 empty tank, and setting it on their train, then drilling back in with two. They left the tank that was already there on the spur when they left (they set it off on the old stub track during their moves).

I saw RDD while they were doing this, but after they drilled back the first time, he had to go. Once they pulled out, I was done (drizzle, getting dark, etc). But we were still on the other side of the crossing. /sigh.

Lesson learned: Next time don't go on the other side of the tracks when Y297 is pulling in there!

But, technically, the crew shouldn't be leaving their train on Ann st. They could pull up on the main, then switch using the run-around coming from the north end...Any thoughts from those railroaders amongst us?
