Starting Monday, Amtrak will require facemasks to board trains. You will be denied boarding if you do not have a facemask on. You can remove the facemask at your seat according to this the link above.

Amtrak is the latest transportation entity to require passengers to wear face masks when traveling to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The rail company announced Thursday that starting Monday, all patrons in stations, on trains and thruway buses (Amtrak's transit buses) will have to wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth in order to protect customers and employees.
