Looks like it might be a sugar cane train or something like that. The clickity clack sounds like a HO model railroad. :lol:

Yes, it's a Queensland sugarcane railroad. IIRC, there are several other drawbridge crossings.
Neither of those lines are standard gauge.
One of the comments mentioned they didn't need this as there were other methods, alluding to a OWL crossing.
An OWL crossing would eat those sugarcane bins for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Those small wheels won't be able to get across the gap reliably.
The sugarcane railroads are incredible. Unfortunately they don't run in February which is when I was there :(
