BNSF Derailment, Oil Spill Near Doon, IA.

A BNSF crude oil train derailed yesterday near Doon, IA and leaked thousands of gallons of oil into the Rock River.

I think the article said something about flooding in the area. I wonder if MoW either missed something or hadn’t gotten there yet, and if the latter is the case, why was that train allowed to continue before an inspection took place?
