What's Frying BART train electronics?

Unread post by Garry K »

Interesting article at http://spectrum.ieee.org/view-from-the- ... art-trains about electrical components getting fried on BART trains in the San Francisco Bay Area.

As one person quoted in that story said:
“Our system was built to last about 45 years and we've reached that limit,” said one tweet.
There's an interesting discussion thread over on Slashdot about the above problem at https://tech.slashdot.org/story/16/03/1 ... s#comments.
