Why does this locomotive look familiar?

One can make a mistake and own up to it, but still feel guilty.

Well there are many reasons. First it is a verry verry close reletave of the PM 1200's. The NKP 715-779 were buit at Lime Loco Works in Lima, Oh. They are pratically twins. The 1225 was deliverd in '41 and 765 in '44. The 765 has been all across the eastern half of the country, so it is verry well known from all those trips from the early '80's to mid '90's. 1225 and 765 even went together to the National Convention in Hunington, in '91. Also 759 made a lot of trips in the late '60's to the mid '70's. The 765 also made aa few trips for a year in '93 lettered and numberd for a C&O 2-8-4 #2765. These included a few trips in Michigan.
